What is a sesshin?

Sesshin

Sesshin is a period of practice of variable length, during which the teachings and the course of the day are centred on zazen.

Far from the hustle and bustle of the social world and its preoccupations, it is a special time to practise together, peacefully, and to concentrate entirely on the practice.

Taking part in a sesshin does not require any particular ability. Everyone is welcome, and beginners benefit from the support of more experienced practitioners.

Detailed information about each sesshin is available in a pdf flyer.
